Its nice to see your warm up sketches. They are very great.
I think every young artist here want to know what kind of tablet PC you have. It a real enigma for me, i never saw one in store.
Its seems so easy for you to draw. Does it work like a Wacom Cintiq, with pen pressure and all... I mean if it does, id prefer spend money on a PC tablet than in computer ans a Cintiq.
wow cool a whilce portacio blog. Thanks for all the inspiration you've given me with your drawings over the years. first time i saw your work was on the uncanny xmen days when i was a kid wow a long time ago. best wishes!
my computer crapped out and now i'm at the library
if blogger lets me post i will, if not i'll be here lurking and i'll see ya at SDCC in july
just wanted you to know that my step-father past away 2 hours before the new year and the govt. took his pension which was paying for our home and now my mother and i are at my grandfather's back in SD and i'm again looking yet again, for a reliable job and my mother was forced to come out of retirment to work so that that
This is so cool, I have been a big fan of you ever since your Punisher run. I had a subscription to Pun and Pun War Journal sent all the way to Taiwan! One day I was looking a cover you drew and I saw a Japanese signature and it blew my mind!
It is good to see you are back on top of the game! Maybe this new tool will open up your creative floodgates!

I'm a huge fan of Whilce Portacio so when i came across this Spawn piece over the weekend i had to see what i can do with it. I'm still working on it and haven't been able to finish since i am working on a short term project right now with the incredible Marat Mychaels but i will make every effort to have it done soon-promise. Hope you dig it so far...you can see it here.. http://adelso.deviantart.com/
Mr. Portacio, you are an inspiration to all those Filipinos who want to break in the business, you are one of the greatest Pinoy artists in comics... do you have any tips for an amateur artist trying to break into the professional's road... and I also need tips on inking WITHOUT a tablet PC... if you have any...

Any chance you will move to computer generated art, in a similar way to Joe Quesada has done in Spiderman Whilce?
